A Pivotal Turn

Chapter 6 is posted. You can find it here:

Chapter 6

I really like this chapter. I find when friendships deepen, the characters are more relatable. That depth let's us like them (or NOT) a little more. I think the events in this passage are a pivotal turn in the relationship between Lance and Trent. Both of them are finding their way as young adults. As they align, the friendship between them becomes more critical in their lives ahead.

I wish I had a friendship like this in college. Aside from simple "experimentation" in high school, nothing like this happened to me. Sadly, in my life, sex didn't materialize until after college. Being in denial can do that to you. However, platonic friendships during college were incredible. Some people keep them up for years; others just hold the memories as special times in their lives.

Coming to terms with your sexuality is so much easier to handle when you have friends backing you up. I hope all those reading this will agree and have appreciated the support of others.

Much more to come...

  2. Hmm I think Lance is the wolf in sheep’s clothes! I’m hoping that Timothy really develops the Trent/Mike relationship; I’m a romantic at heart having a close friend who’s several years younger but is truly an old soul with a true heart of gold.
My concern is when the parents find out about Mike and Trent it could get rather bumpy being that Mike was at some point Trent’s instructor.
